Client Handover Guide · Example edition

Everything the next owner needs.

This fictional handover covers Greenhouse’s five-page website. The owner receives approved files and a short routine for keeping business information current. The index below uses descriptive locations rather than live private links.

The first walkthrough

Open the home page on a phone and follow the paths to hours, the menu, and directions. Then use the update guide to identify where each item is maintained. Record anything the new owner cannot find.

Monthly maintenance

Check hours and menu information, test contact links, and review whether any images or copy have expired. Record the review date and the person who completed it.

When something goes wrong

Capture the affected page, the time, and what was expected. Contact the named support owner through the agreed channel. Keep a verified recovery procedure in the private handover; do not publish credentials.
