See which claim still needs support.

This fictional evidence register supports a handover improvement proposal. The entries are sample research tasks, not proof that the claims are true.

Keep the claim narrow

“An index helps this team find approved files” is easier to evaluate than “indexes improve productivity.” Match the evidence to the actual scope of the claim.

Assess the source

Record where the evidence came from, when it was collected, and what could make it misleading. A persuasive quotation does not replace a relevant method or representative sample.

Use the gaps

The untested maintenance claim is important because the proposed change creates ongoing work. Prioritize that check before presenting the index as a durable solution.
